Positive living and stress management

As H.G. Wells said “The crisis of yesterday is the joke of tomorrow”. Many of us lurch from crisis to crisis, believing that if only we could just get past this ‘phase’ all will be ok. And then the next crisis arises…

Why is it that some people have a positive attitude and others seem to be afraid of life itself? In fact, a happy person is not one without problems but one who deals with problems in a positive manner. They have learnt that they can change their life by taking charge of their emotions and changing their attitude of mind.

In this workshop, we look at how to harness tools that can lead to positive living and better management of daily stress.

We learn that we alone can decide what thoughts will enter our minds. As N.V. Peale said “Change your thoughts. You change the world.”

As Jackie is a Buddhist, this workshop also includes tips for learning how to calm your mind, relax and breathe well.
