Reiki incorporating Plant Spirit Medicine

Jackie is a Reiki Master who studied with Tanmaya Honervogt, author of “Reiki – healing and harmony through the hands” (ISBN 1-85675-039-6). The word “Reiki” means Universal Life energy and Reiki is a simple technique for transferring healing energy from a giver who has received the ‘attunements’ to a receiver. It is believed to be a marvellous way to heal people. Mikau Usui rediscovered this ancient Tibetan art in 1922 during a period of retreat.

Jackie studied Plant Spirit Medicine (PSM) with Eliot Cowan, author of the book with the same name (ISBN 1-893183-11-4). PSM is an old shamanic form of healing that uses the spirits of plants. It combines ancient shamanic techniques with the medical philosophies of Tibet, India and West Africa and, like acupunture, uses the philosophy of ‘5-element healing’ . It is an esoteric form of healing and one that is growing in popularity.
